More than a decade ago, I started living what I now think of as not just my best life but my perfect life. Life before had been great. I had always dealt with a little heart issue, but was able to just ignore it. But in 2007, after an incident with my heart and several weeks of failing tests, I started to think – despite how great my life was, I had still never done the one thing I wanted to do – become a massage therapist. So after a procedure to get my heart lined out, I set off to chase a dream not knowing where it’d take me, and it has been one wild ride ever since! After getting my massage therapy license in 2008, I opened Perfect Touch in an adorable little shopping village in Camden, Arkansas. I quickly expanded to include gifts and home décor, and a year later, I added the Perfect Cup Café, a gourmet coffee and sandwich shop. In short order, The Perfects grew to include a tanning salon – the Perfect Glo – and women’s clothing boutique – the Perfect Fit. As my beautiful and talented daughters pursued their dreams, they soon realized it was at the Perfects with me! In 2017 and ‘18 we expanded our boutique and café into Magnolia, and in 2019 we added a children’s line and opened a new retail outlet for apparel and gifts in El Dorado.I thank God every day for getting to do this crazy “perfect” life with my daughters. I have watched them grow into beautiful strong women, graduate college and pursue their dreams. That we get to do it together is beyond anything I could have imagined.We wouldn’t be where we are, though, without you – our amazing, wonderful customers, our extended family!
